Rettai Vaal Kuruvi is a 1987 Indian Tamil language film starring Mohan, Raadhika Sarathkumar and Archana. This movie was an unauthorized copy of the Hollywood flick Micki and Maude. Balu Mahendra never acknowledged the original movie in the credits.[1]

Gopi(Mohan) works in a TV station under Vk Ramasamy. His wife is Tulasi(Archana) whom she knew since their early days. He meets Radhika. Love develops between them into marriage.
The sequence goes on till the climax when both the heroines come to know of the other wife of Gopi.
The film was a huge success and was considered one of the master piece of Balu Mahendra. It was also the best comedy film during the decade.It also projected Mohan as a versatile actor, who was until then known to play excellent serious roles.
"Gopi Kanna, Thappu" was a famous phrase from the film, frequently said by VKR.
